Who is who from the “Donetsk People's Republic” friends in Finland, who are undersign a
diploma. For this list, I picked out the most important persons with a brief to
the report, some of the persons presented in the list are currently in role in
the margin, so to them it is not necessary to clearly point out. They can be
called "useful idiots"
driven by idealism or nationality - perhaps Russian citizens - forwards. The
fact that they are now in the margin does not mean that they are after that
year - some have quickly ascended the hierarchy.

Finnish propagandist Janus Putkonen also sent a greeting to the event from Donetsk. He
is known ”editor-in-chief" as
pro-Russian propaganda agency DONi-News's.

Johan Bäckman (Doctor of Political Science):
Bäckman write his name in Russian form Йохан Бэкман.
He works in Russia under the presidential
administration RISI think tank. Bäckman is often represented in Russian media
as a human rights activist and Bäckman has acted as an "election
observer" in the illegal referendums in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. He
recruits Finnish militants to Eastern Ukraine to fight in Russian troops.
Bäckman is the founder of the Finnish Anti-Fascist Committee (SAFKA). He has
also been involved in trust in the World
with Out Nazism organization, founded by the oligarch Boris Špigel (Spiegel) and
has been called Aleksandr Dugin's
disciple. He is propagandist and he has organizes hate speech and target it
to his opponents. His political opponents Bäckman has made several inquiries to the police.
He was an informally persona non-grata in Estonia.

Jaana-Marika Kurtti:
Kurtti used also names Jaana Koo and Яана Кто
in social media. She worked as a propagandist in Donetsk's "People's
Republic" in DONi-News
propaganda agency. She has acted as an "election observer" in Transnistria. Kurtti returned to Finland during this year.
Kurtti also served as the "news editor"
of Love FM's pro-Russia radio channel,
this "radio channel" has now been abolished.
Today she works on employee of the DPR
representative office and president of the Finland-Novorossia
Friendship Society.

Jarmo Ekman:
He has also worked under Janus Putkonen at DONi-News in Donetsk.
Ekman has also been an "observer" for
Luhansk "local elections" in the fall of 2016.
Currently, Ekman lives in Finland, and has been
invited as an expert member of the Kansalaispuolue
(Civic Party). Kansalaispuolue is
strongly anti-EU and anti-NATO party founded by Paavo Väyrynen. Ekman is also a conspiracy theorist.

Daria Skippari-Smirnov:
Skippari-Smirnov is a “rising star”, agitator, propagandist
and Putinist. She was organizing 1st the "Immortal
regiment" march in May 2017 in Helsinki. Now they plan for the “Immortal
Regiment” march on May 9th, 2018 and a Victory Day celebration.
She is chairman of the Finnish-Russian Association RUFI’s (suomalais-venäläinen yhdistys RuFi). (2)
Vladimir Agopov:
Agopov was born in Luhansk in 1953, now he is a
Finnish citizen and has been working as a musician lecture at the Sibelius Academy since 1988. He has also
composed string quartets and a concert for cello.
Marina Muhonen:
Muhonen has illegally visited in the Donetsk "People's
Republic", she exceeded the Russian border with the Finnish "tourist
group" in 2016. The nature of the trip was propagandistic.
She is a member of RUFI's board of directors and a treasurer. Her role is visible in a
pro-Russian movement in Finland.
Stig Lång:
He is a member of the executive board of the Finnish Peace Committee (Rauhanpuolustajat). Finnish Peace Committee
claim to be politically non-committed NGOs, in practice it supported the policy
pursued by the Soviet Union during the Cold War, now under its leadership there
are many people who have a positive attitude towards Russia.
Stig Lång has also illegally visited Donetsk
twice during the war on a trip to the Finnish propaganda group leading by Bäckman
& co.
He is also a member of a few pro-Russia and
pro-Putin groups, he’s also member of Vastavalkea,
it’s strongly anti-EU and anti-NATO web magazine. In his publications, he often
reiterates Russian narratives.
Jarmo Lius:
Lius has also visited in Donetsk during war. He
belonged to a group of Finnish tourists who made a propaganda trip to the area.
He crossed the border illegally on his arrival from Russia to the occupied East
Ukraine.
He is a spokesman for the Finland-Novorossija Society. His political position is the Greens Party.
Petri Krohn:
Krohn owns an apartment, where
"representation" is located. Krohn has also illegally visited eastern
Ukraine, it was a propaganda trip for Finnish tourists.
Krohn is a key member of the Anti-Fascist Committee of Finland,
founded by Johan Bäckman. It is a typical "anti-fascist committee"
that disseminates Russian narrative.
Leena Hietanen:
Leena Hietanen is also a member of the
anti-fascist committee set up by Bäckman.
Hietanen is a freelance journalist, she has
written for example to BBC World, Helsingin Sanomat and Turun Sanomat. He has criticized Estonia
for pamphlet "The Estonian Cold War".
In her view, the Soviet Union did not occupy Estonia.
16th of June 2008, Hietanen wrote
together with Petri Krohn on Eesti
Ekspress's website a pamphlet where they call Estonia a fascist apartheid
state.
Hietanen has been a candidate for election on
the lists of the Finnish Communist Party.
Notable person - propagandist - Janus Putkonen:
Janus Putkonen in the
middle.

Putkonen is propagandist and “information soldier”, he working as a
"chief-in-editor" of propaganda news agency DONi-News in Donetsk. He’s
also employee of the Donetsk “People’s Republic”. He played a prominent role in
Egorova Leaks summer 2016. (3) Putkonen
thinks, he is sort of "freedom
fighter".
DONi-News spreads fake news and propaganda, its
"reporter" Christelle Néant
attended in the shelling of a mortars accused of Ukrainian armed forces. (4 and
5) In my blog, "Janus Putkonen (and DONi-News) - disinformation and misrepresentation" I go through Putkonen's propaganda work and ways to spread propaganda.
Putkonen is a conspiracy theoretician, and
worked as a theater director in Finland. Now he also tries to form a separatist
movement in Finland.
He has also Facebook account the name of Ivan Putkov.

Перхо (Tatjana Perho), Seppo Syrjänen (member of Vastavalkea - Tilannehuone), Markku Hongisto (member of Vastavalkea - Tilannehuone, political

(member of propaganda organization Save
Donbass People), Pia Pirre Salmi
(has visited illegally in Donetsk during the war), Juri Smirnov and Stacy
Siivonen.
Some people were unable to identify or play a role so small that
